How did i get here

My orthodontic journey began in 1989 as an assistant for a local orthodontist.  I found my true passion was the lab.

In 2001, I graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Dental Laboratory Program and became a CDT.  Shortly thereafter, I opened my first successful orthodontic laboratory, Orthodontic Designs.  After a decade of being a laboratory owner, I had to close my lab to move out of the country.

Upon returning, I worked a laboratory and an office that specialized in dental digital workflow.  This valuable experience helped me to successfully navigate the changes that had occurred in the industry since I left.

Opening Retainer Art has brought me so much joy.  I am passionate about what I do, and I blessed to be able to work doing what I love every day.

My Happy Place

I love my lab!  I have fun doing what I love in a fun place.
